Titans in Action at City Park |
The Titans cooling off after a match |
Being his second season at the Titans, he seems upbeat to face any opposition. He has had an impressive run last season and in the pre-season tournaments and friendlies.
JKUAT is a strong side to play against; they have a good midfield and play the ball well into space. I know they will be a tough side to play against but it?s up to us to up our game.? Last season, the Titans edged out JKUAT with an emphatic 2-1 victory at City Park. However, Stanley is happy to be with his club, ?It?s always a player?s dream to be signed into a club and join the first team. I?ve always enjoyed each game as it is, whether it?s a win, a draw or a loss!?. Big stan also appreciates the efforts Simon Peter ?SP? Mwangi, the Titans Coach, ?He is a good coach, I?m glad he has spotted the talent in me and has given me the chance to play for one of the best clubs in the KHU National League!?
Titans Team Spirit |
The Kimathi Titans play against JKUAT this coming Sunday at City Park from 2pm, a league match that is pitted to showcase lots of talents as both teams have a very strong midfield and striking power. Titans will be relying on the services of the ever brilliant Brian Ahenda, troublesome Chris Mchwanju and Sniper Austine to control the midfield, and the likes of Lethal Joseh Fab, cheeky Young Freddie and vigilant Simonynsky to blow punches to the JKUAT striking. Philip, Nyaga, Big Stan and Misheck will be expected to hold the line of defense while young ?Almunia? Mathenge guards against the goals.
But however this is not the final team sheet; who knows, SP might through in a few tricks from up his sleeve. Like our Facebook page: The Titans Hockey Club or follow us on twitter @kimathititans for more on the club.
