Vampire Diaries Season 2 marathon, December 13-17 click to see more

It’s marathon time again! Just like last year, the CW is clearing its primetime slate in December to make room for a Vampire Diaries Season 2 Marathon. From the press release:




Airing two episodes each night from Monday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17 (8:00-10:00p.m. ET/PT), The CW will rebroadcast the first 10 episodes of the second season of its addictive hit The Vampire Diaries across its entire primetime schedule that week, beginning with this season’s explosive premiere. The Vampire Diaries is The CW’s most-watched and highest-rated series among adults 18-34 this season.

So that puts the schedule like so:

Monday, Dec. 13th: The Return & Brave New World

Tuesday, Dec. 14th: Bad Moon Rising & Memory Lane
Wednesday, Dec. 15th: Kill Or Be Killed & Plan B
                                                                      Thursday, Dec. 16th: Masquerade & Rose

                                                                       Friday, Dec. 17th: Katerina & The Sacrifice*

Michaela McManus joins Vampire Diaries

Movieline‘s Michael Ausiello reports that Michaela McManus (One Tree Hill, Law & Order: SVU) will play Jules, a friend of Mason’s from Florida who turns up in Mystic Falls. Let’s just say she’s not buying the whole “But he’s in Florida!” thing.




Her first episode will be in December (safe bet it’s episode 11 on December 9th) and it will be a recurring role, so expect her to be sticking around for at least a few episodes.
